Our school provides ample opportunities to all its blossoms to bloom. It has varied club activities and all the students are the members of at least one of the clubs.

Clubs are as follows:

Music Club:

We are proud of our well-functioning music club which acts as a perfect grooming centre for the upcoming singing talents. The music club opens a gateway to nurture the talent in every member by providing a conducive environment for mutual enjoyment and thus rekindling the world.

Nature Club:

We are indebted in the bounty of nature. Each Alphonsian is having this strong sense of dependence of nature. There is a vibrant and responsive nature club celebrating days of environmental significance. We used to arrange nature camps, study tours, poster competitions, essay writing, eco quiz, tree planting etc.

Social Action Club:

No civilised person can be insensitive to the ethos of his fellow beings. A R S is reiterating its social responsibility by organising an array of programmes under the auspices of Social Action Club. We are encouraging our students to keep their eyes wide open towards the suffering lot and do whatever is possible to reduce their misery.

Science Club:

The contributions of science in the advancement of mankind is remarkable . The various science faculties jointly manage a science club. Every year, we arrange a ‘SCIENCE EXHIBITION’ which has proved to be the breeding ground of young Newtons, Einsteins, Khoranas etc.

Mathematics Club:

“Mathematics is the axis of the globe”, the famous dialogue of thespian Thilakan in Spadikam. Here we have a Mathematics club to power the brains of our children. Every year we are conducting an All Kerala Inter School Maths Quiz-“Que Sera sera”. Hundreds of schools of CBSE and ICSE are participating with great vigour.

Dance Club:

Dance is the manifestation of the joy of body, mind and the soul. We are blessed with a host of boys and girls who are born dancers. What they need is fine tuning of their talents. We are providing ample opportunities for our students to develop their dancing skills. Dancing is one of the best forms of exercise to burn out their excess energies.

Adart Club:

Our children should be guarded against the banal influence of alcoholism and drug addiction. We have a watch dog – ADART CLUB – to warn our children about the pitfalls of drug abuse and alcohol. Alcohol is the real culprit behind road accidents and many crimes. Once we got entrapped in alcohol or narcotics , it is very difficult to come out. Prevention is better than cure . the Adart Club is organizing many awareness programmes regarding the problems of the use of tobacco, alcohol and drugs. ADART , Pala is sending resource persons and giving appropriate training to our club members.

Social Science Club:

Being an integral part of the co-curricular activities, social science club aims at making students capable of becoming responsible, productive, useful members of the society. It provides opportunities for the self-realisation and self-expression. It organises exhibitions, display boards on current issues, study tours, skits on burning topics etc.

Quiz Club:

The inquisitive mind of the child is kept intact through quiz competitions. A general awareness for the students is promoted for the students.

Debate Club:

Provides a good opportunity for the students to develop oratorical skills and critical thinking. Future leaders are moulded.

Literary Club:

A platform to enhance our students’ literary skills. Its aims to develop self-efficacy and confidence in the disciplines of writing and speaking by conducting events that are both instructional and enjoyable. It also sharpens one’s logical thinking and communication skills to think spontaneously. It opens before the students a horizon of analytical and creative thinking skills. It promises to cultivate a passion for quizzing, debating, creative writing, literature, elocution etc.

Art and Craft Club :

Art and Craft club sparks student’s creativity by exploring two dimensional and three dimensional arts, photography, graphic design, and also making house hold objects in to works of art. The activities are easy, thought provoking and educational, exploring the themes such as culture, science and maths.
